Mabel Eastwood at Party for Future Mother-in-Law
The ladies of the board of managers of the Los Angeles orphans' home tendered tendered Mrs. R. H. Hewitt, one of their number who has just returned from a four months' visit to her former home at Olympia, Wash., a most happy surprise surprise laat Tuesday evening. Mrs. Hewitt will resume ber duties as financial secretary of the board, which she has held for ten years past. The party was a most pleasant testimonial of appreciation for Mrs. Hewitt's services. services. At 9p. m. lunch was served in %he dining room, after which tbe social was resumed till the party broke up. Mrs. Hewitt is very much improved in health. The following were present: Mrs. C. B.
