Man Killed By Train Near Oakdale OAKDALE — 0. J. Johnson, 31, of Pitkin was killed instantly at 3:47 a.m. today when run over by a Missouri Pacific train about six miles south of Oakdale, Oakdale, according to Dr. Paul Shorts, Allen Parish coroner. The train was travelling south toward Lake Charles when engineer engineer P. V. Wooley of Alexandria Alexandria said he saw Johnson lying lying beside the track with his head on the rail. Wooley told Dr. Shorts that he saw the man when about three telephone pole liogths away and that he slopped as soon as he could in the dense fog.
