Lamar Smith murdered for claiming he was as good as a white man on the Lincoln County, Mississippi courthouse grounds in Brookhaven, Mississippi. In spite of a large number of witnesses, none would testify. Lamar was helping black people vote. He was murdered by Noah Smith along with two accomplices
