BRADFORD, Pa., Oct 12. -- At Davis Switch, a small village thirteen miles this place, the dwelling of Patrick Daily burned and his wife and three sons, aged 11 and 9 years respectively, were roasted the flames. At 6 o'clock Thursday night, while the daily family were at supper, father stepped to the cook stove to turn part of the gas. He unintentionally shut cock and instantly the house was filled gas. An explosion followed setting fire to the house. The three boys and mother prostrate on the floor overcome by the and flames. Mr. Daly rushed out of the house to assistance, but all efforts to s tve the unfortunate infants were futile. The house entirely consumed in a few moments. charred and blackened bodies of the four victims presented a sickening sight. Daly's ribs were burned from her body her intestines exposed to view. Her flesh was cooked to the bone. The three sons not as horribly burned as the mother, their blackened bodies could not be until placed side by side. The gas pressure was very strong, the gas pipe running from an oil well. Mr. Daly is severely but not fatally about the head and face and is almost with grief.
