Henrietta 1962: New Junior High By DONNA FRANKLIN Henrietta Correspondent HENRIETTA - To launch 1962 seventh and eighth, graders moved from the old Henrietta School into the new $600,000 junior high on Vermilion Road. It now houses sixth graders also. In May school Superintendent James Ehrman resigned after 10 years with the district to become assistant superintendent of Mid- view district. Also resigning was the Rev. Dewees Dewees Singley who had been pastor pastor of Henrietta United Church of Christ for nine years. He is now assistant pastor at a United Church in Akron. New Leaders In August a new pastor, Rev. Wilbur St ell, came to serve the local parish from Willoughby, and during that same month a new executive head, Charles Groth, Arcadia Arcadia High School, took over in 2 of the Firelands School District In September the Keith Buchs family left for Lebanon for one year under the CROP plan. A new football coach, William Ramseyrer, from Plymouth led the local team to second place in the Inland Conference. The girls' Softball team won the tarain County championship under the coaching of Miss Margaret Parker. Parker. In December Joseph Knoble Jr. was appointed Henrietta civil defense defense director by the township trustees. as
