the in 17, HENRIETTA at of P. / Children's Day was observed at Henrietta Evangelical - Reformed Church Sunday and was in charge of Mrs. John Berger. The program included recitations songs, and dialogues by the children. The Rev. Dewees Singley's sermonette was entitled "Measuring up." The Women's Guild held its June meeting at Henrietta Evangelicai- Reformed Church. The business session was in charge cf the president, president, Mrs. Jessie Dellifieid. Mrs. Ft ' Baumann led devotionals and the program was in charge of Miss Martha Dellifieid. The group] will hold their annual picnic in! August. Committees named for the picnic are: Mrs. Harold Latterman, Miss Hazel Bonn, time and place; Mrs. Dewees Singley, Mrs. Ray Franklin and Mrs. Glenn Gerstack- Franklin and Mrs. Glenn Gerttack- er, recreation. Mrs. Mario Isern and son, Lewis, Caguas, Porto Rico, Mr. and Mrs. John Salata and children, John and Patricia of Inkster, Mich., were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Phillips. Mr. and Mrs. John Berger, Henrietta, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Berger in Elyria on Saturday night. A picnic supper was served in honor of the former's j birthday anniversary. Dave Hufnagle, son cf Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hufnagle, Henrietta, is taking a 10-day advanced training training course in life saving at Camp Limberlost, Jnd. Hufnagle is a member of Firelands High school first graduating class. Donald J. Portman has received his Doctor of Philosophy degree at John Hopkins University in the field of physical science, specifically specifically micro meteorology. Portman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Portman, Henrietta. He graduated fror Henrietta High school and studied at Hiram College, the university university of Michigan and John Hopkins Hopkins University. While working on his doctors' degree, he did research work for the armed service and Seabrock Farms, N. J. He is now BETTER PROTECTION
