Ronald Rice performed the candlelight ceremony at the Community Methodist Church May 29 when FLCW Hear Talk About Youth Problems Delegate and alternate to the second triennial convention of the American Lutheran Church of South Dakota were elected at the meeting of the First Lutheran Church Women Thursday evening at the meet- Ing in Fellowship Hall. Mrs. William Olawsky, president, president, was named delegate and Mrs. Robert Kuhlman, alternate, alternate, to the convention to be held June 9-10 in Sioux Falls. Devotions were led by the Rev. Olaf Rossing and Mrs. Don Filzler gave the worship offering offering meditation. Guest speaker, the Rev. Philip Philip Harley, youth education pastor pastor of the First Methodist Church, was introduced by Mrs. Gordon Thune of Hannah Circle, program chairman. -He spoke on the subject of youth problems. Miss Dolly Leistra of Omaha, Neb., exchanged nuptial vows with Thomas Stogdill of Omaha. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Shortreed of Geddes and the parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stogdill of Council Bluffs, la. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Harold Williams and Miss Marilyn Zobrist was the soloist. Miss Doris Leistra of Geddes was maid of honor and bridesmaids bridesmaids were Miss DeEtta Leistra Leistra and Miss Delila Leistra, both of Omaha. Miss Sheila Olofson of Pierre wag flower girl. Attending the bridegroom as best man was Mike Stogdill of Council Bluffs, Grooms men were Bob Jones of Malvern, la., and Don Stogdill. Alan Leistra of Rapid City carried the rings. Candllighters were DeLayne Nelson and Rhame Slogdill. Following the ceremony a buffet buffet supper and reception was given by the bride's parents in the church basement for pbout 125 guests. The couple will be at home at 2001 Ave. G., Council Bluffs, la., after a short wedding trip. The bride was honored at prenuptial prenuptial showers at the, homes of Mrs. Eugene Wostcndorf and Mrs. Richard Zobrist.
