Wrestling Results World tag team title holders Nature Boy Kirby and Lord Alfred Hayes held their title, but were disqualified in a championship match with challengers Danny Little Bear and Black Angus in a four-card event held Wednesday evening at Bishop Hogan gymnasium. Kirby and Hayes won the first fall in 12 minutes and the second fall went to Danny Little Bear and Black Angus before the referee disqualified the World champions when Danny Little Bear was thrown over the ropes and out of the ring by Kirby. There is no exchange of the World tag team championship belts in a disqualification. In the semi-final tag team match, Mike George of St. Joseph and Jim Brunzell of Minneapolis defeated Bob Brown and Tokyo Joe by taking the final two falls. Black Angus was the winner over Nature Boy Kirby in the special event of the night and Brunzell and Tokyo Joe battled to a draw in the opening event. Ronnie Etchison was the referee for the matches. The wrestling card was presented by the St. Columban's Catholic church.
