Phillip A. Keoppel Phillip Anderson Keoppel, 79, of 2537 Ave., died Friday morning in St. Benedict's Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Keoppel was born Nov. 14, 1886, Bertrand, Neb., a son of Joel M. and Louisa Catherine Hilderbrand Keoppel. On July 1, 1920, he was married to Annie Nelson in Logan, He was a retired jlacksmith f o r t h e Southern Pacific Co. e was a veteran of World War I, serving with the Army. He had lived in Byrs, Byrs, Colo., California and Logan, coming to Ogden in 1940. Surviving a r e h i s widow, five sons and one daughter, Clyde .. Keoppel, .George L. Keoppel, Mrs, Alma Dorothy) Campbell, all of Ogden; Russell eoppel, Roy; Ralph W. Keoppel, Huntsville; Archie P. Keoppel, West Point; 19 grandchildren, grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, brothers, Tom Keoppel and William Keoppel, Byers, Colo. Funeral services will be conducted Â»t 10 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary witn Bishop Vernal Wayment of the Sixteenth Ward officiating. Friends ma ycall at the mortuary Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in Auftorest Memorial Park.
