deaths Mrs. Royal Hornbakei Norma M. Hornbaker, 74, 1001 Davis, died Tuesday at St. Catherine Hospital. Born Norma Finfrock April 28, 1904, at Darlow, she married Edgar Royal Hornbaker Hornbaker Oct. 27,1929, at Darlow. Mrs. Hornbaker graduated from McPherson Academy and taught five years at Crescent, Castleton, Springdale and Lincoln schools, all in Reno County. She was a member of the Church of the Bretheren and past president of Church Women United, Friendship Sunday School Class. She came to Garden City in 1949, moving from Montezuma. Montezuma. . ,;. Preceding Mrs. HornbaHer in death was a brother. Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Dean, Tribune; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Carol) Martin, 1207 Old Manor; and a granddaughter. Funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Eldon G. Shingleton officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call at the Garnand Funeral Chapel Thursday evening and all day Friday.
