FBI SCHOOL Aiken is indeed fortunate in having for the second year a two weeks F. B. I school, and Chief of Police J. M. Sprawls and the police department are to be congratulated for their farsightedness-in staging such a school in Aiken. Ten of the members of the police department have spent the last two weeks receiving instruction from Special Agent J_ M. Thompson of Savannah, Chief of Police Salley of Orangebur'g and Highway Officer Fallaw. They have also heard lectures by Leonard Williamson, Aiken attorney ana member of the House of Representatives on the procedure of ~evidence-and-the laws of urrests and searches. All of this instruction will mean a more efficient police force and will tend to lessen crime in Aiken. MW
