He was born in Forreston Aug. | G. 511 S ' State Ave - died in a local hospital Thursday afternoon. Christian G. (Chris) Hillmer of six in 7, 1878, the son of Mr. and Mrs. | William Hillmer. His marriage to Myrtle Eckstein! took place May 19, 1904. For a number of years he was the the ai *y- [a cigar salesman in northern Illi-| nois and later was employed by the Illinois Central Railroad Co. From 1930 to 1949 he was janitor at Henney School, retiring eight years ago. He was a member of Embury Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; a sister, sister, Mrs. Antoinette Campbell of Los Angeles, Calif.; and one brother, brother, William A. of Freeport. A sister sister and two brothers died previous- Service will be in Walker Mortuary Mortuary at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Paul Bloomquist, pastor of Embury Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortu- son at pastor 1890,
