StfltfOH 6/076 »**t*»fWfi VIMA^ Man Suffers Hand Burn in Service I George Hawthorne, Byers Service Service Station worker, suffered, burns on his hand about 8 a. m. today today when he smothered a gasoline fire at the Third and Shover Street Station. He was putting gag in an auto when it suddenly ignited. He smoth, ered the flame before damage resulted but burned his hand. He was able 'to remain at wprk. Earlier Carrlgan t CPrnelius saw smoke in Hobbs Grocery and Market Market an dcalled the pwner, Galen Hobbs who put, out f smouldering motor, A short in the wiring was olamed for the fire. No serious damage damage resulted.
