KENNEN LADDONIA — Mrs. Ray Life and two children, Linda and Geffrey, Geffrey, have returned to their home in Indianapolis, Ind., alter a vacation vacation visit here with Mrs. Life's mother, Mrs. E. Haycraft was hostess hostess for the June meeting of the Magazine Circle at her home here Wednesday afternoon with all fifteen members of the circle and one guest, Mrs. A. L. Bruton, Bruton, present. Mrs. J. W. Maxwell Maxwell gave some readings and directed directed some contests and Mrs. Haycraft told of the new and very modernistic plywodd furniture furniture which is now being manufactured manufactured in Indianapolis. Later Mrs. Haycraft served fresh cherry cherry pie and coffee. The June meeting- of the Eager Beacers and Sewing Susies was held at the Hutchinson Community Community House-with Lorrain Kelly Benny and Glenda Alexander as hosts. The meeting was opened with the 4-H pledge and roll call was by naming a book read recently, recently, the author and what we liked about the book. Seventeen members, eight visitors and four leaders were present. A picture on "Conservation of Wild Life," was shown and plans for Achievement Achievement Day were discussed. Projects reporting were home- grounds 1 and 2; homefurnishing 1; clothing 2 and 3; woodwork 1 and electricity 2. Garnham Talbort reported on the June Council meeting, Lorrain Kelly on the county camp at Sherwood Forest. Shirlee Glass told of the State Camp that she attended at Columbia. The game for the social hour was "Come to the Court." The host and hostesses served refreshments of cake and a refreshing fruit drink. Bailey and Mrs. Bailey accompanie them to Montgomery City where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Walkup for a fish fry Friday evening. LADDONIA — Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Turner and sons of Akron <->., are here for a vacation visi with Mrs. W. C. Turner, mother of Mr. Turner. Mrs. Clayton Phears spent Sunday with her parents, Mr and Mrs. Taylor Petty, in Bowling Bowling Green. Mr. Phears, Gilbert Parham and Dick Detienne spent Sunday on a fishing trip to Moberly. Mrs. Thede Brown returned Sunday from St. Louis where she visited two weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Runde and family and other relatives Mr. and Mrs. Runde and son Leslie ,are movinug this week to a farm near Rush Hill since he has retired from his position with Crane Plumbing Co. They will reside in the house on what is known as the Bob Walters farm bought recently by Henry Sonwalt and son. Mrs. Marvin Cox, Mrs. G. D.
