Crocodile Devours Australian BRISBANE, Australia (AP) -- A man who lived in terror crocodiles was eaten by one 15 feel long with three legs and tail in far north Queensland, a coroner's inquest was told to- day. The inquest into the death Peter Reimers, 35, was told was so afraid of crocodiles he never would wade in water more than a few inches deep. Witnesses told Coroner B. J. Blades they believed the croco- dile was aware of Reimers' habits and stalked him for days before it took him at the end hunting trip on April 28. Reimers was silting in shal- low water cooling off at the time. Two fellow laborers from the Weipa bauxite deposit and po- lice constable A. C. Bone found Reimers' severed legs at two .'·separate points along Mission Creek near the waterhoIeM Marks on the legs indicated crocodile attack and they threw explosives into the waterhole, they said. The crocodile, which surfaced and disappeared, was later dragged from the water dead. Reimers' body was found in- side in eight pieces. Police told the coroner they believed the crocodile had lost its tail and one leg in a fight another crocodile. Fully intact, it would have measured 20 feet.
