BRiDE AND CLUB MEETINGS CONGRESS DEBATING CLUB The Congress Debating club of Ogden High school held its annual banquet in the Hotel Ben Lomond Saturday evening., May 16. The theme for the banqut was the Congress of the -United States. Miss Margaret Smaltz acted as toastmlstress as the speaker of the house. Marion Dame gave a toast to the seniors as the senate. Virginia Virginia Nicholas gave a toast to the alumni as the supreme court. Margaret Coray gave a toast to the juniors as debaters on the floor. Betty Tangren gave a toast to the juniors as the house of representatives. representatives. Verna Forbes gave a toast to the seniors as power of the gavel. Mrs. Reba Basoni gave a toast as the president of the United States. Rose Burchell sang two songs. Katherine Kaneko Kaneko played two piano selections. WOMEN OF WOODCRAFT Ogden circle, 581, Women of Woodcraft, held their regular meeting Wednesday, May 20, with Guardian Neighbor Rose Stewart presiding.
