interest was that of Miss Marion Iverson and Earl Starks at the residence of Mr and Mrs-Lee Miller 125 West Elk avenue Glendale Calif Miss Iverson is the daughter of Mrs Iverson of Glendale and Mr Starks is the son of Mr and Mrs Elli3 Starks of Clearfield Utah Miss Iverson was attended by Miss Walcie Starks sister of the bridegroom and Miss Pauline Keiling of Los Angeles The bridegroom was attended by Harpham of Los Angeles and James Iverson brother of the bride Before the ceremony Earl Thomas of Glendale sang Love You and accompanied by Mrs Lee Miller To the strains of Mendelssohn's played by Mrs Lucy Berg the bridal party marched to the improvised altar in front of the fireplace The bride on the arm of her brother Ira was charming in a gown of pale blue organza She carried a large shower of sweetheart rosebuds The maid of honor and bridesmaid were gowned in pale yellow "organza carrying large bouquets of yellow sweet peas After the ceremony which was performed by Bishop Hill of Glendale buffet refreshments were served Following the wedding reception the bride and groom left by motor for a short honeymoon Upon their return they will be at home in Los Angeles Cal Among Brough Married to Dorny Miss Veda Brough daughter of 1 Mrs Mima Brough was married to Walter Dorny Wednesday -May 20 In the Salt Lake temple with Elder Joseph Christensen performing the ceremony A small reception was held fol- lowing the marriage A wedding dinner was served for the mem- bers of the immediate families 1 at cafe Salt Lake City Covers were laid for twenty Mr Dorny is a graduate of the college Salt Lake City and has filled a three Ger- man Austrian mission Mrs Dorny attended the Ogden High school and is a graduate of the Herbert Hoover high school in Glendale Calif She studied two years at the Lipson Art school and completed a business course at the Sawyers Business college in Los Angeles The couple will make their home in Los Angeles after a honeymoon trip to the northwest Mrs Dorny has been entertained extensively Mrs Mil- ton Maynard a sister of the bride entertained at a party in honor of Mrs Dorny at her home The centerpiece was a miniature umbrella with ribbons and lamet- ta representing rain for a shower Twenty-eight guests were present Mrs Mima Brough will enter-" tain at an informal tea this afternoon between the hours of two and -four in honor of her i ter daughter Dorathea Deane will be married to Jack Van Erden son of Mrs Cathrien Van Erden Sunday May 31 at seven-thirty in the Hotel Ben Lomond Mrs A Irvine will be the matron of honor and the bridesmaids will be Mrs Lit a Van Erden sister of the bridegroom-elect and Miss Doris Fleming cousin of Miss Monahan Harry Van Erden brother of the bridegroom-elect will be the best man and ushers
