9 5,809 cover an he a the represented fight for assured. W. C. Botkin Dies Unex- ' pectedly In Sioux City; Funeral Here Friday William C. Botkm, 55, secretary the South Dakota Detail Credit Association Association with offices in Huron, died in a hospital in Sioux City late yesterday afternoon following £. recent operation and an illness with a heart ailment. The! death, of Mr. Botkin, who was prominently identified in business circles throughout the state, was unexpected. Before becoming secretary of the retail credit organization Mr. Botkin Botkin had been in the banking business at Letcher and Wqlsey. He was brrn at Gafwin, lai, November 2, 1883, and was an active Mason. Surviving . him are . the widow, Mrs. Blanche Botkin, New Royal j apartments and who was with him a t the time of his death; a brother, Paul and three sisters, Mrs. Walter Stark and Mrs. Clarence Parish, all of Fruita, Colo., and Mrs. R. E. McCall McCall of Hereford, Tex. His mother Mrs. Mary E. Botkin, Fruita, Colo., also survives him. The body will arrive in Wolsey 9 o'clock tonight and will be taken to the Welter Chapel where funeral services will be held Friday at 1 o'clock, and burial will be made in cemetery at Artesian. Masonic rites will be conducted at the grave. Mr j. Botkin is expected to arrive tomorrow afternoon by car from Sioux City. peace--provided
