Fans have been waiting three years for this game. The last time these two schools played was back 3n the 1953-54 season. Flathead, playing .in the Class AA Big Ten Conference finished ninth in its league, while Whitefish ROLLIE SCHATJBLE while Whitefish will go under tap with three juniors and two seniors. Seniors for the visiting Braves are Smith, Bydquist, Zauner and Lowman. The lone junior is Cabbage. Garey Smith and Mike McNeilly are the two seniors starting for Bulldogs, while. Jim Baker, Doug Knapton and Dick Stoll are the juniors. BACKER-UPPERS Other Braves who will.probably see action are senior Bob Boltqn, junior Dave;. Tinney, junior Bob Durado, senior Jack Keith, junior Les Chapin, junior Dennis Olson, junior Wayne Livdahl, sophomore Jim Meacham and sophomore Croskrey. Bulldog bench strength will Paul Hinman', Wayne Hedmap, Gordon Conn, Hon DeMotts, Lauren Buckland, Kenny Phillips' and Danny Paolini ready for action. The game is expected to draw capacity crowd for the renewal the Flathead-Whitefish series. Both teams will see action a- galnst non-conference opponents later this week. Flathead will its home debut against Lewis Clark High School of Spokane, Wash., Saturday night at 8. Whitefish is host to Shelby Friday in an 8 o'clock engagement.
