G. C. STAKK DK. ROY A. WEBB Two Well-Known Local Men Succumb Within Two Hours Two well-known Pampans died unexpectedly Thursday night within n two-hour period, At 6:45 p.m. Dr. Roy A. Webb died from a stroke suffered only a short while before he died. He had been a resident of Pampa for 25 years. Grower C. Stark, 1015 E. Browning, died about 8:40 p. m. just as the ambulance reached the hospital. * * * * * * Funeral services for Grover Cleveland Stark, 64, will be held some time, Monday in the Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Hal Upchurch, pastor, officiating, assisted- assisted- by the Rev. D. H. Truhitte, former pastor and the Rev. Finley Finley Vanderburg, pastor of Hobart Street Mission. No definite time has been set for services. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ada Stark, Pampa, 1015 E. Browning; Browning; one daughter, Mrs.) Don Haslam; Kellerville; one son, Curtis Curtis W. Stark, Riverside, Calif.; four brothers, Alva, Carthage, Mo., Elmer, Neosho, Mo., Leland, Purdy, Mo., and Lewis, Purely, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Reynolds, Reynolds, LaRussell, Mo., .Mrs. Ella Stewart, Wichita, Kans., and Mrs. Myrtle Newton, Chetopa, Kans., and four grandchildren. Mr. Stark was driving his car on S. Hobart street with his wife and Kate Anderson with him. He slumped over the steering steering wheel and the car hit a post before the -women were abl« to control it. An ambulance was called and Mr. Stark died just as .the hospital was reached. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery with Duenkel-Carmichael Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers will be. E. B. Davis, Jake Erwin, C. A. Jeter, C. L. Hunter, E. R, Cower and H.- T. BeckHam. •*,.. , Dr. Webb, 59, a resident of Pampa for 25 years, suffered a stroke at his home at 720 N. Somerville Thursday and died shortly after arriving at a local hospital. Dr. Webb was a 1916 graduate of the Oklahoma University Medical Medical School, past president of the j Lions club, veteran of World War I, member 40 & 8, American American Legion, member of the Elks and Khiva Temple Shrine. Survivors include his wife, Helen E.; one son, Roy, Jr.; a grand.son, Roy Baker; a brother, brother, R. C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lyda Marshall and Mrs. Erma Moore both of Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be conducted conducted from the First Methodist rhurch at 2 p.m. Saturday with Dr. Orion 'Carter, pastor, officiating. officiating. Pallbearers will be D. L.
