The annual banquet of the W. L. Howland Chemical Company in the Ellsworth Hotel on Tuesday was largely attended. Harold Sheehan presided as master of ceremonies and reported that 19 members of the company were in the armed forces, and that one member, Russell Sweet, had made the supreme sacrifice.
