Mrs Charlotte Duncan - obit
Mrs. Charlotte Duncan .Mrs. Charlotte C. Duncan, J)3, who came to Kansas in a covered wagon, died Salurdj^y at her home, 301 S. Buckeye. Mrs. Duncan was born at Canton, Canton, Mo., living there until her parents started for Kansas in a wagon train when she was about 9 years old. The 'family first settled on a farm near Walnut, later moving to Baldwin. There she was married to Ora P. Duncan Aug. 16, J893.. They moved to lola in 1897 and she has made her home here since then, Mrs. Duncan was a member of the Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors and a Gold Star Moth er of the American Legion. She is survived by two sons, Marius Q. Duncan, Parksville, Mo., and Ora A. Duncan, Prairie Village; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Busley and Mrs. Josephine Josephine Neighbor, lola; and Mrs. Mary Dimmitt, Piper; a brother, F. P. Martin, Des Moines, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. E. H. Khepp, Clay Center; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted by. the Rev. Paul Pentz at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Waugh Funeral Honie; Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
