Waid 38,, Rockwell Field, Riverside, Calif., were in William Beaumont hospital yesterday with injuries received when they bailed out of their plane in a blinding snow storm 90 mile, east of El Paso. The fliers were en route from Dallas to Rockwell Field in a twin motored Keystone bomber. They said they jumped when a crash with Guadalupe Peak was imminent. It was their first paracliute jump. The plane burned after crashing. Waid suffered a broken leg when his parachute carried him against a hillside. He crawled a half mile before Ronin and a rancher found him. be to 2 ed
