Drill mishap Kills Worker A 56-year-old construction worker was fatally injured yesterday in an unusual accident involving a dynamite drill, Sheriff Doug Hendry reported this morning. Louis J. Yearwood2Alamo Drive, of Immokalee. was rushed to the Naples Community Hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead on arrival. THE SHERIFF said Yearwood was injured on a development site some six miles south of Alligator Alley and was an employe of the Fort Myers Construction Company Investigation of the accident accident disclosed, according to the sheriff, that Yearwood, Yearwood, operating a drill, had completed boring a hole in which dynamite was to be placed—and accidentially backed the machine into a water-filled hole which caused the rig to topple. Yearwood was pinned to the dashboard of his machine and was struck by a large portion of the drill (Continued on Page 2A)
