of was his for ) blasts week taffey First Future Farmers Form Thrift Club at Hub The Future Farmers' Association Little Valley High School is believed to be the first such association in Cattaraugus County to organize a Thrift Club, part of the program of the national organization. Organization of the Club occurred at the school recently with Howard Bonhoff elected president. Other officers officers are Lynn Wood, vice president; Herman Miller, cashier; Charles Bever, assistant ca=hier and Myron Waite, Theodore Nichols and Lynn Milks, directors. The purpose, accoiding to H, J. Shoup, instructor in agriculture at the school, is to encourage the boys "save their pennies". Systematic routine ·will follow through the years the boys are in school. There are about 20 hoys in the club and on each Wednesday deposits are made by them to the cashier. Five cents is the smallest deposit taken. The ca=hier then takes the entire collection and depoits it in one f u n d at the local bank. Deposit slips are made out by boy -which a c c o m p a n y his deposit. Each boy has his own account account book.
