In the last major battle of the 19th Amendment, anti-suffragists tried to connect then Suffrage Association president, Carrie Chapman Catt, to seemingly blasphemous comments in the November 1895 Woman's Bible - Part I due to Mrs. Catt's name appearing in that edition's Revising Committee [Note: Part I Second Edition, published April 1896, replaced Catt's name with Clara Neymann]
