Cpl. Delbert Avery Operating Ice Cream Plant In Korea Cpl. Delbert Lee Avery, who is stationed in Korea, is now operating operating an ice cream plant, according according to an article appearing in the recent post paper. The plan produces 300 to 500 gallons of cream per day. Often officers and enlisted men come to visit the plant to see for themselves that there really is an ice cream plant in Korea, Korea, and they are well satisfied satisfied when they see Corporal Avery and Pvt. J. Nunoz prepare prepare the ice cream, pour it into the portable mixer and pull it out 10 minutes later. All the en- gridents that go into the cream must be hauled from miles around the camp. Corporal Avery, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Avery of Laddonia, Laddonia, is with Company D, Quartermaster Quartermaster company, and has been in service for the past two years. He has been stationed in Korea for six months.
