Carson Irwen - (Continued from Page One) Russell about 35 years ago. Mr. Irwen was widely loved and highly respected both by long-time residents of the county and those who had come to know him in recent recent years. Honesty and fairness characterized his dealings with those about him, and his friendliness friendliness and neighborly qualities won for him many friends. He was interested in the development development of his community, and especially especially active in work to secure better schools. He served as a school trustee for many years. Surviving Mr. Irwen are his widow, one son, Ijuther Ray Irwen, and two grandsons, George Boyd Irwen, and Joe Ray Irwen, all of this county. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
