EVENING SHADE NEWS ternoon at the Cannady home. Mr. Marvin Stubbs and Ora. and Marie Hess went to Black Gum Sunday Sunday morning. Mr. Frank Stubbs and son, Edgar S. and Mr. Bill Stubbs made a trip Saturday Saturday to Marble City. Mr. Wess Hess spent "Saturday "night at Black" Gum. Mrs. Settingdown of Drake Prairie is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Jess Handle for a few days. Well the old men are still keeping the Marble game going on every Sunday. Sunday. Everyone was glad to get the rain that came Sunday morning. We hope that there will be lots of feed raised this year. Those that have been on the sick list for a few days are Mrs. W. M. Stubbs and Mrs. W. W. Hess. Mi*, and Mrs. Frank Stubbs and son Edgar S. visited her mother Saturday and Sunday, Mrs. Rebecca Eversole at Sallisaw. Mrs. L. Skaggs spent a few days visiting her son, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Skaggs. Mr. Frank Stubbs saw Rev. Sparks in Sallisaw Saturday afternoon and said he would be ready to come to Evening Shade and hold a meeting in about 2 weeks, so let everybody get ready to serve God and get the love of Godjn their hearts, so make ready and have~a good meeting.
