Commission Frees City Prisoner After a lengthy dicsussion whether whether the city commission should grant pardons to city jail prisoners without without knowing "all the facts," the Salt Lnko C!ty commission TUCR- day authorized the release of Louis K. Jennings, serving a 90-day term for drunkenness. Commissioner Oscar W. McConkie McConkie raised the point whether prisoners prisoners should be released after a court has decided a case and fixed the penalty. The prisoner's mother, Mrs, L. Jennings, saW he had bsen promised promised work if released and the com- rnissicn so ordered, with Mr. Mc. Mc. Conkie excused from voting for ' the reason that "we don't have all . the fflcts before us."
