Akin, Ok- MKS. L. D. AKIN WEDDINGS ORR-STEVENS TDLIA, May 8 (Special)--The marriage of Miss Martha Orr, daughter of Mrs. D. N. .Orr of and Finer Stevens, son of Mrs. D. Stevens of Canyon, was solemnized solemnized at 6 o'clock Friday evening n the home of Mr. and Mrs. wltt Orr here. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. J. A. Thomas lastor of the First Methodist Church in Canyon. An accordion solo, "I Love You Truly," served as the wedding march. Dewitt brother of the bride, gave her Miss Katie Stith was maid of and Kenneth Pickens of Miam served as best man. Rondell Orr nephew of the bride, served as bearer. An informal reception followed the wedding. Mrs. Stevens has spent most 01 her life In Tulia, being graduated from the Tulia High School with class of 1938. She attended WTSC In Canyon last term. The bride groom attended school in Miami and also attended college at He Is engaged In the florist in Canyon where the couple will make their home.
