Mr. and Mrs; A. V. Canady. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Spangler and family, Harold Douthitt and lola Godfrey visited at the home'of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Douthitt Monday evening. ' : • Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Douthitt and daughter, Millie Frances, of Galena, Kans., Were Sunday visitors with relatives in this community. Fred Benton of Kansas City is visiting at this time with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wasson. Mrs. Ed Beck was called to Tulsa Thursday on account of sickness of her daughter, Mrs. Herschel Benton, of that place. Leo Armstrong and sons, Earl and Wayne, were Neosho visitors Saturday. Mrs. Andy Hedman and children of Neosho were week-end visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Clay Ritter. Mrs. Ritter was before her marriage Mi.ss Augusta Redman. The W. M. U. of the Ritchey Baptist church met in their regular meeting Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curtice York. Several members, and two visitors, Mrs. Logan Largen of Kansas City and Miss Carrie York of the Shiloh community, were present. Refreshments were served by Mrs. York. Mr. and Mrs. Logan Largen of Kansas City who have spent the last week with relatives in this community returned home Sunday. The many friends of this community were indeed sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Art Reynolds of the Green Valley community, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Testerman and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mailes of Seneca were week-end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Martin.
