SUGARHOUSE—A ballroom of twill give an authentic imitation ihe "Gay Nineties" will provide the background for the Sugar- liouse Lions club's Christinas frolic to be presented Wednesday at 8 p, m. at the Irving high school 'auditorium, C. K. Ferre, general chairman in charge of the production, said Thursday. Highlight of the presentation, the entire proceeds of which will bn used for the Lions club Sub- for-Santa fund, will be a dancing chorus of eight members of the club who, dressed in !ong gowns, of the "can-can," popular "Gay Nineties" dance. Four members of the club will don bowlers, mustaches and the brilliant, tweeds worn by gentlemen gentlemen ol 1 50 years ago and will sing a repertoire of old-fashioned songs in the old-time barber shop manner. In addition to these two local talent acts, there will be 10 professional professional vaudeville acts by Salt Lake artists who have volunteered volunteered their services as their con- tribution to the Sub-for-Santa fund, Mr. Ferre said.
