Former Resident of Victory Dies Mrs. Fred McVicker, 62,. fpr- mer Victory resident, died Fri r day afternoon at her home in Grand Rapi'ds following a long illness. Martha Smith was born in Victory Aug. 12,. 1&79,, -.and was married to Fred McVicker in 189*7. They moved to Thornp'soh- ville where they lived a number of years before going to Graiid Rapids where they made their home 25^, years. Mrs. McVicker is survived by her widower, a daughter,. Mrs. Minerva Sinclair of Reed City; two sons, Lester of Ionia and Jesse of Grand Rapids; four sisters, sisters, Mrs. Eva Gouldman and Mrs. Louisa Lother of Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Mrs. Violet Hendry of Watervliet Watervliet and Mrs. Frank Nephew of Ludington; four brothers, Arthur Arthur Smith of Ludington, 'Vtfa'l- lace Smith of Grand Blanc and Chester and Ford Smith, both of Lansing.
