A son of Joshua and Elizabeth (Campbell) McCracken, he was born May 10, 1873. Surviving are six sons: James, Charles and Clarence McCracken, all of Sharpsville, Alvin McCracken of Chicago, Samuel McCracken of.. Cleveland and John McCracken of. 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, W. C. McCracken of Latrobe; two sisters: Mrs. Mary McDowell of. Ligonier and Mrs. Margaret Barrof..; Blairsville, and two step-sisters: ;Mrs. Mary Rager of Cleveland and Mrs. Stella Sterling of Omaha, Neb. 'Friends are being received in the - 217 - home of his sister. Mrs. Barr, North Morrow street, Blairsville, i where services will be conducted at 2:30 p. m. Sunday. The Rev. Dr. R. E. McClure, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church of Blairsville will officiate and interment will be in Blairsville Ceme- tery.
