Mrs. Stevenson Dies Of Stroke Mrs. Sallie Rayle Stevenson. 70, fliprl at 8:30 a. m. today .it. her homp in Monticello community, Statcsvillp. route 7, after suffering suffering a stroke of paralysis Tuesday. Mrs. Stevenson had suffered a stroke about a year and one-half ago and her health had steadily declined since that time. She had been bedfast two weeks prior to thr second stroke. She was a daughter of the lute J, A. and Rhoda McMichael Rayle Rayle of Guilforrl county. She was married to Junius G. Stevenson December 2, 1891. He died in 1927. The couple had lived in Monlifollo community since her marriatic, having resided at Loray Loray prior lo that. Surviving arc four sons, James IT. Stevenson of Sta'tsville, route 6, J. Harvey Stevenson of Statesville, Statesville, route 7, Ricbuid Stevenson of the home and Frank Stovcn- son of Pearl River. N. Y.: three daughters, Mrs. V/"iiliatn Fnhmr of Gaffney, S. C., Mrs. Floyd Harris Harris of Statesville, and Mrs. W. Z. Morrison of Statesville, route 7; two sisters, Mrs. Mattic Mouse of Statesville and Mrs. J. R. Stanley of Gnilford City; IB grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted conducted from Concord Presbyterian church of Loray, of which she was a member, at 3 p. m. Thursday. Thursday. The pastor, Rev. S. M. Ho'uck. will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot of the church cemetery. The bci'y will remain at Bunch funeral home until 30 minutes prior to the service when it will be removed to the church to lie in state.
