W. H. "Pete" Cannon the 95,' son W. L. J. be Funeral services for W. H. "Pete" Cannon, 33, of Rt. 5, Lumberton; who died suddenly Friday at his home after an illness of several months, will held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at Singletary Baptist Church. The Rev. Gaston and the Rev. Vance Tyson be in charge of the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be Biggs Funeral Home until hour prior to the funeral. Cannon, a native of Pitt County, came to Robeson while still a student at North Carolina State University. He was employed during a as a trainee with the County Extension Service. Upon graduation from State, he was ; employed as an Assistant Agriculture Agent and centered most of his attention on work with 4-H members. Later he employed with Farmers Home A d m i n i s t r Elizabethtown. He is survived by his Mrs. Faye Guase Cannon; a William Lynn Cannon, a daughter, Miss Anita Cannon, of the home; five brothers, James, Bruce, Roger and Cannon, all of Grifton and Cannon of Aurora; a sister, Marie Mallol of San Antonio, Texas.
