Mrs. Alexander Dow Mrs. Gertrude (Geddes) Dow, 71, wife of Alexander Dow of Hoosac St., died this morning at the Kelson Nursing Home, Cheshire, Cheshire, where she had been a patient patient since last Friday following! an extended illness. A North Adams naative, she attended schools in that city and had resided in Adams more than 35 years. She was a member of the Congregational Church and the Woman's Society of the parish which she served 35 secretary for several years. Besides her husband she leaves two brothers, William Geddes of North Adams and John Geddes Boston; two sisters, Miss Minnie Geddes of North Adams and Mrs. Helen Andrews of Pawtucket, R. I. A son, Lt. Russell S. Dow killed in action in France in No-| vember 1944 while serving with tank unit in an armored division. Funeral arrangements are in- L complete. The body is to A. C. Simmons Funeral Home.
