Mrs Elizabeth Hartman Funeral
: FIFTY - ONE DESCENDANTS. The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Hart - mann of Prospect avenue took place yesterday afternoon. Services were held over the remains at the home, the Hickory Street Presbyterian church and the cemetery. Rev. Mr. Nordt officiated. officiated. A quartet, consisting of Miss Lydla Nordt, Miss Mary Mirth, Jacob Schunk and Will Zeisman, rendered vocal music during the services, Mrs. Fierce Fellows accompanying.. The pallbearers were five grandchildren and a grand - nephew of the deceased, namely. Edward P. Dippre, Anton Dippre, George Maus, Adam Maus. Christ Scheuer, Jr., and Frank Hart - man. Three grandchildren were flowerbearers, as follows: Willie Scheuer, Freddie Smith and George P. Hartman. There were four generations of Mrs. Hartman's descendants represented at the funeral and at the home after the obsequies. They made a total of 51, as follows: Mrs. Elizabeth Maus, wife of William Maus of Alder street, with eight children; one of her sons, William William Maus, is also married, and' has two children; Mrs. Helen Dippre, wife of Philip Dippre of Maple street, with six children, with two sons married; Peter E. Dippre, with three children, and Edward Dippre, with one child; Christian Hartman, Mrs. Jacob Traes - ter, of Maple street; Mrs. Mary Scheuer, wife of Christian Scheuer, of Birch street, with four children; George Hartman, with eight children Mrs. Caroline Smith, with three children; children; Peter Hartman, with two children, children, and Mrs. Lucy Peil, wife of Charles J. Peil of Birch street, with five children. To see these many relatives encircling the grave of one who had been an affectionate parent to all of them was a never - to - be - forgotten forgotten forgotten sight.
