Mahar, 81, widow of Frank Mahar, formerly of 36 Murray St., died Sunday after an illness. Mrs. Mahar had been residing with a granddaughter, Mrs. Carol Hoefcr, 76 Lawrence St., for the last few years. She was barn in Oswego, daughter of the late Peter and Barbara Kern Fleischman. She served as a Republican election inspector in the 7th W-ard for many years. She was a communicant of St. John's Catholic Church and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. Surviving besides her granddaughter, Mrs. Hoefer, are a ( l a u g h t e r , Mrs. Rosalie M. Smith, Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Bert Mercier, Oswego, and an- o t h e r granddaughter, Mrs. Frank B-asile, Cato R. D. 3; three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Dain Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m, in St. John's Catholic Church, Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. glewood, Fla., and several nephews and nieces. Frawley, 73, of 405 Lyons St., died Sunday in his home after a long illness. Mr. Frawley was a life resident of Fulton. He was retired from the Niagara Mohawk Co. and was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Ebel Frawley, are a daughter, Mrs. Richard H. Decker, Oswego, two grandsons, James and Charle.$ Decker, Oswego; a sister, Mrs. Edward Ford, Fulton; a- brother, William Frawley of Fulton and several cousins.
