JOHN T. WIDENOR DIES AT HOME IN THIS CITY Jobn T. Widenor. eighty - four years old. of 721 Wheeler avenue, died yes. terday morning following a long f II ness. Mr. Widenor was one of the best known men in Scranton, having come here to reside in 1871. He worked for many years as r carpenter at the Lackawanna Car Shops. , During the Civil war, Mr. Widenor toolc mi active part. He was a mpm - lir - r of Ezra H. Ciriffln post. G. A. R.. of this city, and the funeral, which "will be hold Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, will be in charge of the Vet - erans. A short service will also be conducted at Forest Hill cemetery, whore Interment will be made. 3Ir. Widenor is survived bv the fol - I :lowing children: . Mrs. Ellen Woos - man, Syracuse; Mrs. E.
