Headquarters Are Set Up On Mill St. Twenty-three units will be in the line of march Saturday when Bristol Borough welcomes Santa Claus to his Mill Street headquarters. The red carpet will be out for the visitor from the North Pole. Santa Claus will ride into town on a bright red fire engine engine to climax a community parade that will start 10 a.m. Saturday. Sponsored by the Mill Street Bristol Businessmen’s Association, Association, the parade will inaugurate inaugurate the Christmas season in Bristol and will install Santa into his Gingerbread House at the Mill Street Wharf, just off Radcliffe St. Bag Of Gifts The distinguished visitor from points north will bring with him a large bag full of gifts for his admirers among the younger generation. Five bands will provide the music for the parade. They are: Bristol High School Band. Delhaas High School Ban<|, Lower Lower Bucks County String Band. Harrowgate String Band and the Robert W. Bracken Post Cadets Junior Drum and Bucks Corps. Added color will be provided by a host of television and radio radio stars including Elmer .Jester .Jester The Clown and Radio Sta- Station WRCV personalities. Official Representation William Waterbury is the grand marshal for the parade and borough officials to participate participate include Borough Council President William Veitch, Police Police Chief Vincent Faragalli and ° i Burgess Anthony Niccoletti. Models for Fashion Show on Mill St. Dec. 1 will be on a special float. So will the Courier-Times carrier boys who will collect letters from Santa Claus from youngsters youngsters living the route. Neshaminy High School Color Guard, a state championship unit, will help lead the parade along with the New Hope-Solebury Hope-Solebury Twirlettes. Costumed Marchers ' Miss Hedy Vilius, the Polka Queen, will ride a special car. » There will be costumed marchers, marchers, a unit from the Bristol Arm Reserve Headquarters, the Lower Lower Bucks County Rescue Squad and many other participants in the parade The parade will form at 10 a.m. on Wilson Ave. in front of Bristol High School.
