On his recent return from a visit in Auburndale, Wisconsin, J. P. Ellis brought to Wm. H. Schroeder of this city a rutabaga from the farm of his brother, Chris Schroeder, near Marshfield, Wis., that was some elephant in size, weighing 12 pounds. Mr. Ellis also brought along some Sne samples of field com from the farm of his son Kenneth at Auburndale that is m'ighty pretty to look at, the ears being large and well filled. The corn samples may be seen by calling at Mr. Ellis' blacksmith shop.
