Claim for money by Margaret against Charles Leightham - MOTHER PRESENTS CLAIM. E. H. Deysher,...
MOTHER PRESENTS CLAIM. E. H. Deysher, representing Margaret Leightham, brought a suit against Charles A. Leightham, to recover claim for over $900 for the maintenance of her son. The fund in the hands of the committee was realized from a claim for pension for injuries in the Spanish war, which caused the lost of Leight ham a mind. The claim for maintenance antedates the allowance of the pension and there is some controversy as to the legality of the mother's bill.
