d i n g Day by dry than TOURIST CABIN BURNS, ESTIMATE LOSS AT $1500 Structure Used as Beer Garden by John Eveler Totally Destroyed A fire of unknown origin earlv Saturday morning completely dss- John miles troyed the large cabin at Eveler's filling station, two east of the city limits on Highway 30. Nothing was saved from the cabin, which was used as a beer garden and storage room. The fire paratment was called to extinguish the conflagration, but found itself handicapped by a shortage of water and was forced to confine it's activities to preventing the flames from spreading to adjoining cabins.. As the station is outside of the limits there is no fire plug- and the only water which could bs secured was the small quantity ried in the department's "booster"! tiot apparatus. baker who had no" official Eveler, who lives nearby, hat! ; closed his filling station only a hour previously.
