Rev. and Mrs. Fidel Reyes Feted at Farewell Reception Rev. and Mrs. Fidel Reyes, who are leaving make their home in Kansas City, Mo., were honored yesterday at a farewell reception in the Fellowship of First Christian Church. Since 1936, Reverend Reyes has served as pastor the local Mexican Christian Church. Rev. W. E. pastor of the Borger First Christian hijrh Jhurch. presented the honorees with a silver coffee and tea service, a gift from Districts 1 and 2 of Chrisian Chrisian Churches of Texas. Tall baskets of gladioli and phlox decorated the hall. The centrally placed serving table was laid with a lace cloth and centered with a crystal basket of dahlias and roses. Presiding at the punch bow] were Mesdames L. S. Pearce, R. L. Moore, i. A. Hunter, H. J. Vandenberg and D. T. Leachman. Assisting in the receiving rooms were Misses Barbara Gaithcr, Mary Lou Melton. Nancy Fields. Patsy Moore. Mary Frank Lyvers and Vtsry Briscoe. Receiving- the guests were members members of the board of the Mexican Christian Church, including Messrs. and Mesdames Arthur Scott. O. W. Floyd, Al Reville, Jr., Mrs. Will Benton. Benton. Mrs. Price Hooks. A. Triplett and Reverend and Mrs. Reyes. Mrs. A. Triplett secured names for the guest book. Calling during the receiving hours were 138 guests with representatives from Canyon. Hereford, Hereford, Parapa, Borger. Panhandle and Amsrillo registering. The committee in charge of arrangements arrangements was composed of Clifton Clifton Ammerman and Mesdames Hazel Wilson Lewis, E. M. Frost and A. F.
