Mr. C. H, Fenstermacher gave a very Interestlug talk or. 'Wider Education" having for his central thought 'The school as a social center." He gave examples of other cities where every evening or perhaps a few evenings each week the ecnools were opened so that the patrons and pupils could spend an Informal evening there either with books or socially. Ho did not advocate that the Muskogee schools be opened every night but thought^ it wluld be a Kood plan if they were opened once a week In the evening.
