C. attended Rice and Houston Law School after graduating from Katy High. He holds a BA degree from Rice and a L.L.B. from Houston Law School. On Dec. 1, 1940 he married Floy Ruth Peck, also a Katy Alumni (class of 1940.) They have two children, Terry Leighton | with her husband and two 11 and Roseanne 9 years old whom thjiy . adopted as infants. Besides being a minister, the secretary-treasurer of the Full Gospel Assn. News, secretary of the FG- EA, an International ministerial organization, and a member of the Aircraft Owners Assn., W. C. is a full time rancher-fanner. He says his hobby is flying. . Mrs. C. E. Southward, the former Emogene Sills, lives for l nnp sons, Don, 8, and Billy, years old, in Houston. She became an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after graduating from Katy High in 1934 and was Assistant Chief Operator when she resigned 16 years later. She is a member of St. Stephens Methodist Church in Houston. Emogene lists her hobby as cake decorating and says that she has received her Master Cake Decorating diploma.
