Bitten by Copperhead Snake - Mr. and Mrs. Lannie Wood are parents of a son, born June 29, 1938. He was given the name of Louie Winford. When the babe was 2-days old, the father had the misfortune to be bitten on the legy a copperhead snake while getting out lumber for ties. Lannie received first aid and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Charles. He is not getting along very well and is unable to work.
