Gainer-Magness Wedding Held at Fairland Church United in marriage April 16 at the First Baptist church in Fairland were Miss Shirley Ruth Gainer and Bruce E. Magness. The Rev. Richard L. Foster officiated at the 6:30 p.m. ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gainer, Fairland, are parents of thotparty. Gainer, brother of the bride, served as groomsman. Guests were seated by Jack Webb, and Reecc Magness, Kansas City, Mo. The groom's niece. Shelly Magness, scattered flower petals in the pathway of the bricla bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Magness, Harrison, Ark. A program of wedding music was presented by Mr. Glenn W. Cosby, Miami, and Don Leamon, also of Miami. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a dress of silk organza and chantilly lace over satin, designed with a train extending from the back neckline. Miss Janice Gardner, maid of honor, and Miss Deborah Gainer, sister of the bride, were the attendants. They were attired in floor-length blue crepe over satin dresses with blue brocade empire bodices. Robert Magness, Wichita, was his brother's best man. Dale Candles were ihonda Magness lighted by and Larry Magness, niece and nephew ol the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Magness were feted at a reception in the church by parents of the bride Reception assistants were Mrs Larry Leamon, Mrs. Don Lea mon, and Mrs. Clifford Grayson Miss Leah Collins kept the gues book.
